Today’s travel photo is of some antique furniture inside Pinang Peranakan Mansion in George Town, Malaysia. Pinang Peranakan Mansion was built by Chung Keng Quee, a rich Baba from the local Nonya Culture in Penang, and it is now a museum showcasing some excellent examples of the lifestyle of the rich merchants of the area. The antiques on display are just beautiful, such as this lovely table and chairs.
Wow, what an amazing collection of antique furniture is this….I just loved it and I am sure there will be lot more at Pinang Peranakan Mansion and it’s just a piece.
If you like antiques then you will be in heaven at Pinang Pernakan Mansion. There are some beautiful pieces there.
By looking at it I can sense that the furniture’s are old because of the intricate design on the wood.
They are quite old. That much effort isn’t often put into things these days is it?
