Today’s travel photo is of a baby yak in Namche Bazaar, Nepal. It’s quite common to come across yaks, dzopkyos (half yak/half cow) and mules wandering through Namche and other villages in the Himalayas of Nepal. I was wandering around the streets of Namche Bazaar when I came across this cute little baby yak…at least, I think it was a yak – it could have been a baby dzopkyo, I’m no expert. What ever it was, it was very cute and wandered over to me while I was taking its photo.
that is not a Yak for sure nor a dzo!! 😉
I am no expert on Himalayan bovine species. Please enlighten me 😉
