Today’s travel photo is of a bamboo footbridge in the Mekong Delta, Vietnam. These bridges are quite common in rural parts of Vietnam and other parts of Southeast Asia, and are usually built as a temporary river or creek crossing. Crossing this bridge, I was surprised out how strong it was and I felt quite safe. Still, I wouldn’t want to cross this bridge after a few beers 😉
