I’ve been in Vietnam for a week now and am really liking the country so far. I took this photo in Hanoi when exploring the Dong Xuan Night Market in the Old Quarter. The night market runs along the street from the Dong Xuan Market all of the way to the busy roundabout at Hoan Kiem Lake, selling all kinds of items. When I go to markets, the only thing I am really interested in buying is food, and there is plenty of street food stalls and restaurants to choose from. The market is supposed to open at 6:30pm, but it doesn’t really get underway until about 8pm.
There always something about night market that I love about. It’s colorful everywhere, and it’s the place where you’ll find cute and unusual things and are definitely worth buying.
I agree, Rachel. There are always some interesting things to see, and a night market always feels so alive!
