Today’s travel photo is of some local food stalls along one of the quiet streets of Savannakhet in Southern Laos. The sleepy town of Savannakhet is a great place to grab a bike and just slowly cycle around the quiet streets. There isn’t much of a tourist presence here and little stalls and hole in the wall restaurants like this are the main places to eat, and they usually serve tasty and cheap food. To me, Savannakhet is a town of character and a place I will definitely return to.
