Today’s travel photo is of the toilet at Wat Rong Khun (The White Temple) near Chiang Rai, Thailand. I’m not one of those weird people that go around taking photos of toilets, but this particular one is probably the fanciest I have ever seen, and I thought it was definitely worth the photo. At first glance I thought it was another temple building as it is built in a similar style, but as I walked up to it I realised that it is in fact a toilet. Have you ever seen a toilet building this elaborate before?
I now see why the Thai temples are so impressive, they need to get one up on this toilet building. 🙂
Haha. Well it’s certainly hard to beat isn’t it? 😉
Hello Dean,
Oww Is it really made by gold? I am very astonished to see this post. Is it only for display?
A very nice place to be but i’ve never been to check on the gold toilet, been there many times, last time in November 2019 at a late evening sound and light show, spectacular.
