Today’s travel photo is of one of the intricate sandstone carvings at the ruined temple of Banteay Srei in Angkor, Cambodia. Banteay Srei was one of my favourite temples in Angkor. It isn’t grand in size – in fact it is quite tiny compared to other temples – but its detailed sandstone carvings are just amazing, and beautifully preserved.
