Today’s travel photo is of the Lantern Lit Petaling Market in Chinatown in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I took this photo while walking along one of the side streets off of the main busy street of the market – Petaling Street, which is also where our guesthouse was located. The Petaling Street Market is a great place to shop in Chinatown. Although it opens at around 10am each morning, it doesn’t really get going until night time when more market stalls set up along the street and the restaurants and food stalls are in full swing. Since our guesthouse was located on the same street, it was great to be able to walk through the market each night when we returned. And of course we had many meals in the area as well.
Beautiful photo- I loved Kl’s Chinatown too. I miss the food!
Hi Kathryn. Yes, there is some great food in Chinatown isn’t there? Lots of nice hawker stalls 🙂
