This week’s travel photo is of Ho Phra Keo – a Buddhist temple in Vientiane, Laos that dates back to 1565. The temple has an interesting history, most famous for once housing the Emerald Buddha (now located in Wat Phra Kaew at the Grand Palace in Bangkok, Thailand). Ho Phra Keo is now a museum containing some of the best Lao Buddhist sculptures in the country.
