This week’s travel photo is of some locals loading up a boat on the Mekong River in Laos. As I took the slow boat up the river from Luang Prabang, I saw many scenes like this as we pulled into tiny villages along the river. The locals rely on the river to get their supplies, as there are no roads to many of these villages.
Great photo! I’m looking forward to taking that trip myself in a few months.
Thanks, Jim! The slow boat was a great trip, and I definitely recommend it. Enjoy! 🙂
