This week’s travel photo is of Palazzo Pubblico and Torre del Mangia in Siena, Italy. Located in Piazza del Campo, Palazzo Pubblico dates back to the end of the 13th century and was completed in the 14th century along with it’s neighbouring clock tower – Torre del Mangia. The palace is now used as Siena’s town hall.
To have a palace as a town hall is something quite unique, l am visiting Sienna early next year so will certainly be taking this site in.
Hi Sasha. Siena is a really interesting town to explore. I hope you have a great time!
