Living in Brisbane for the last few years has given me the opportunity to really get out and experience all of the beauty that South East Queensland has to offer. So from time to time I will be making posts based on the area from an “insider’s view”. Hopefully this will give travelers a few less known places to visit while making their way through Queensland. I will start off with some photos of some of the amazing wildlife you can encounter in South East Queensland.

Koala – An endangered species. This is a rare sight in the wild.

Taking photos of wildlife isn’t always easy. But with a little patience, and the hope that the animal will cooperate and stay still for a second, I often manage to get some great shots.
