Today’s travel photo is of some freshly planted rice fields in front of some tall limestone karst mountains near Vang Vieng in Laos. The countryside around Vang Vieng is just beautiful, and taking a bike ride down some of the quiet dirt roads is a must. When we visited Laos in July this year, the rice fields were just being planted, so it was interesting to see the locals out working in the fields.
This is STUNNING! I love it.
It is a pretty spectacular place. Glad you liked the photo, Sally.
I loved my time in Vang Vieng, so much beautiful scenery while riding my hired bike around!
Hey A.J. Good to hear that you also enjoyed biking around Vang Vieng. A lot of people don’t get out to the countryside. I could keep going back again and again.
The place looks refreshing because of the green environment surrounds it. I wish I can have that kind of view when I open my window in the morning after I wake up.
Me too! π
Love this photo. The green fields make the mind so refreshing!!!
Yeah it was a very relaxing and serene scene. I could keep going back here no problem at all π
Hi we are currently in Vang Vieng and woundered where abouts this bridge isπ looks amazing, great photo:)
Follow the road towards the Blue Lagoon (on the opposite side of the river from Vang Vieng). Lots of nice scenery to enjoy π
