Greve in Chianti was the first town that we visited in the Chianti wine growing region of Tuscany, Italy. We drove our car from our lovely Tuscan villa in search of a nice picnic spot in the countryside, and found just that outside of Greve in Chianti. After lunch we returned to the explore the village and found our way to the central piazza that was full of little shops and cafes, where we enjoyed a coffee before walking down a random street to find ourselves wandering up a steep path that gave us this great view across the roof tops of the village. Whenever I look back at my photos from Tuscany, I just want to hop on a plane and return to this beautiful part of the world.
Beautiful photo, we totally know how you feel, while we haven’t been to this part if Italy, there are certainly photos we look back on that make us wish we could go there in that moment 🙂

Yes, Italy has a habit of doing that to people. All of my photos from there do the same thing 😉
Beautiful indeed. The beautiful roofs looks a summer time to me.
It was a perfect shot, orange and green on the ground while white and blue on the top.

Hi Melly. Glad you liked the shot. It was around September time when this was taken, a very nice time to visit!
