This week's travel photo is of the barren and rocky Shira Plateau with the snow capped Kibo Peak rising above it on Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. I took this photo in the morning of day three of the trek before climbing up to the lava tower, located at the base of the snow capped peak ahead.
