Today’s travel photo is of two local kids getting ready to ride their bicycles in a small village outside Siem Reap, Cambodia. I took this photo while travelling around between the temples of Angkor in a tuk tuk. There is a lot of life to be seen in these little country villages.

What is Tuk tuk? Is it a kind of vehicle?
Hi Peter. Yes, a tuk tuk is a vehicle. Kind of like a three wheeled motorbike/taxi. They take on different forms in different countries. Here is a photo of one in Cambodia: https://www.theroadtoanywhere.com/crowded-tuk-tuk-in-battambang-cambodia-travel-photo/
Angkor Temple is quiet interesting. I heard the Hindu temple turned to Buddhist temple in the 12th century.
Hi Peter. Yes the temples in Angkor were originally Hindu 🙂
