Today’s travel photo is of a shop selling vegetables on the street in Kathmandu, Nepal. As you can probably tell, this building was damaged in the earthquake and is basically being held up by those wooden struts wedged in between the roof and the ground. You can’t see it in this photo, but the entire wall was on a huge lean and the building looked like it would crumble down with the slightest tremor. Still, the shop continues to be open for business, and people were happily buying fresh produce as they walked past. I can’t really blame the shop owner for operating in such a dangerous building. How else will they make a living? Life has to go on.
After earthquake everything ruined in Nepal.
