When I was at the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, I wandered away from the spectacular Silver Pagoda and stumbled across two locals who were playing some traditional Khmer music. One tapped away on his drum while the other played a kind of xylophone instrument. They seemed to just be playing for tips, and I thought that they were pretty good. I love seeing this kind of thing when I travel. Check out this video of their performance:
