Today’s travel photo is of a view of the sky through the branches of a flame tree in Nha Trang, Vietnam. I took this photo while exploring the ancient Cham towers of Po Nagar. This colourful flame tree provided me with some much needed shade during the heat of the middle of the day. From here, I got amazing views out across Nha Trang – a lovely spot to just sit in peace for a while.
We also have that kind of tree here in the Philippines and we call it “Fire Tree” because of the color of it’s flowers and if you look it from afar it looks like the tree is in fire.
Hi Kristy. Maybe they call it “Fire Tree” in Vietnam as well? I’m not sure. Here in Australia we call it a Flame Tree…same same but different 😉
