Today’s travel photo is of a bowl of wanton noodle soup in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I got this dish on my very first night in Kuala Lumpur, bought from a hawker stall along Jalan Sultan in Chinatown. The wantons were a delicious mix of pork and shrimp, served with noodles, greens and slices of pork in a mouthwatering broth, plus plenty of chili marinated in soy sauce on the side for extra flavour. The dish was absolutely delicious, and it only cost 4 Ringit ($1.30). There’s nothing like good street food.
It’s lunchtime and really mean to publish such a tasty looking photo 🙂 That’s really cheap and probably a very delicious lunch, I’m also a big fan of street food.
Haha, sorry Stef. I wish it were possible to get this sort of street food everywhere. That would be nice wouldn’t it?
This image is making my mouth water! It looks as delicious as you described it.
It was very delicious. The picture makes my mouth water as well.
It looks delicious during the cold weather and it is cheap too!
Looks very yummy! Almost the same with our “Batchoy” soup here in the Philippines. Better try it too.
Oh I will definitely have to try it when I finally get to the Philippines. Thanks for the tip.
