Today’s travel photo is of the viharn at Wat Nong Sikhounmuang in Luang Prabang, Laos. I had never actually visited this temple when I first visited Luang Prabang, but came across it on my recent trip when I was just wandering around the streets of the Old Town – my favourite thing to do in Luang Prabang. I took this photo as I was quickly making my way back to my guest house before the coming storm set in. I somehow managed to time it perfectly as I just got back to my guest house when it started bucketing down with rain.
Incredible sky and gorgeous architecture. Wow!

Hey Maria. It was the perfect scene for some photos. I couldn’t resist 😉
A very nice shot. Love the background, it’s like the situation here.. it’s about to rain,. oh, it’s already raining.
Thanks Shirley. I took this photo just before it started bucketing down 😉
Such a beautiful photo. I love how you’ve managed to capture the clouds!
