Today’s travel photo is of the street along the waterfront at dusk in Hoi An, Vietnam. Like most of the Old Town in Hoi An, the beautiful old buildings along the waterfront are all lit up by lanterns, and walking along the waterfront just as the sun goes down is always a beautiful sight. As night sets in the lanterns light up the area. In this part of town there are a lot of restaurants to try out, and although you may pay a little extra, it is well worth it for the view of the river. Hoi An is certainly a romantic place.
During eight years of photo shooting Vietnam for my book, http://www.Vietnam40YearsLater.com, Hoi An certainly stands out as a memorable place. And in addition to its historic significance, it had great places to eat and lovely beaches.
Hi Robert. Yes, Hoi An definitely stands out for me from my travels in Vietnam as well. It is just beautiful and there is a lot to do and see in the area. Cheers and congrats on the book!
